Welcome to Mr. Nowak's 7th Grade Science ClassÂ

2015-2016 School Year
This is my 11th year at Pioneer Ridge Middle School and my 14th year teaching overall. I love teaching 7th grade science. Weather has always been one of my passions. I remember as a boy standing outside during a tornado warning. My mom was not pleased to say the least. I told her I was being safe because the Dutch oven on my head was protecting me from the hail. I received my Bachelors degree from Kansas State University, my Masters degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and my Education Specialist degree in Secondary Administration at the University of Central Missouri. However, I bleed purple. GO STATE! I also have a passion for basketball. March is of course my favorite time of year. My wife and I have two children. My son is 6 and my daughter is 3. I am now beginning to understand what people mean when they say kids grow up fast. |
