The Independence Teachers Credit Union was started in 1959 by a group of 54 teachers and administrators for the benefit of eligible employees of the Independence School District. Their mission was to be a benefit for employees and their immediate family members in regard to fair loan rates and higher yield dividend rates on their share deposits. We continue to strive to fulfill that mission.
Share accounts and savings accounts are variable rate accounts. The dividend rate and APY (Annual Percentage Yield) may change every quarter as determined by action of the Board of Directors.
We make secured loans for vehicles, motorcycles, boats, ATV, and recreational vehicles, as well as personal loans. Your loan rate is based on your credit history, with members having excellant credit getting our best rate. We strive to make our rates competative with other loan rates.
