I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. When my cousins and I were young, we’d play school and I always wanted to be the teacher. One of the teachers that was the most inspirational to me was my 7th grade Language Arts teacher in Puerto Rico. We did cool projects in her class and I wanted to be just like her when I grew up. She was a fun and caring teacher and I have never forgotten her. Class Supplies

A Little About Me
I graduated from Park University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and I am certified to teach Elementary and Special Education. I began working on my Master’s degree in Special Education at NWMSU. I have substituted, taught, and worked as a para- throughout my 10 years in the field of education and have walked away a better teacher because of each experience. I am excited to be working at Independence Academy and love the staff and students that I get to work with on a daily basis! Schedule
