Middle School Athletics Information for 2024-2025
Winter Sports Information:
Girls Wrestling/Boys who did not play football October 22nd @ Bridger after school 4:00 to 6:00 Mr. Mora will walk the students to practice that day.
Boys Wrestling for those who played football- Starts Oct. 29 at Bridger, 4:00-6:00
Boys Basketball - Try-Outs Oct. 29 & 30, 4:00 - 6:00
Girls Basketball - Try-Outs Monday October 28th 3:00-5:00- must provide own transportation to practice (Mr. McIndoo coaches football so that is why the girls schedule is a little different)
Wednesday October 30th 6:00-7:30 am
All students must have an updated PRIVIT and current sports physical.

After adding student, click back on student’s name

Click on each button (Personal Details, Pre-Participation History Form, Parent Permission Form, Student Agreement Form, MSHSAA Concussion Form, Athletic Handbook, Emergency Contact Information). Make sure these forms are signed with the required e-signatures.

Upload your physical (form the doctor completed signed and dated). Go to Manage Documents “upload documents”.

Join all teams your student would like to participate in at the bottom of the page.

A parent meeting will be conducted each season. The date of the meeting will be announced and information sent home after teams are established for the season.
A required $50 athletic fee (per school year) is due before the first scheduled season contest. The athlete will be given a student athletic pass, to attend any ISD high school games (no tournaments or track relays), once the fee has been paid.
Student Physical
All physicals will now be valid for 2 years from the date of the physical, unless indicated differently by physician. Pre-Participation information will still need to be updated annually on PRIVIT.
Athletes must have a physical uploaded on the PRIVIT site (see below) before he/she may try out, practice or compete on a team.

Blank physical forms can be located in each middle school building or on the PRIVIT school site listed above. On the PRIVIT site you will log in, scroll to the bottom and select “Print

Age Eligibility
7th Grade athletes may not be born on or before June 30, 2010
8th Grade athletes may not be born on or before June 30, 2009
Academic / Citizenship Eligibility
Students are eligible on promotion to the next grade. Grade eligibility is based on semester grades. Any athlete that earned more than one “F” will become ineligible for the second semester. Student athletes who earn more than one “F” will be ineligible to be a member of an athletic team or MSHSAA sanctioned activity. Coaches may not allow players who have low grades to participate in games if they have low grades during the season.
Athletes represent their school on their athletic team and at contests. Athletes suspended from school or suspended with the In-School Suspension program are not eligible to compete or practice until they have attended one full class following their suspension.
