Middle School Athletics Information for 2025-26
Fall Sports
Fall Sports will begin the first day of school August 18th- Your student must have a physical and signed up in Final Forms (see below) to practce and try-out.

A parent meeting will be conducted each season. The date of the meeting will be announced and information sent home after teams are established for the season.
A required $50 athletic fee (per school year) is due before the first scheduled season contest. The athlete will be given a student athletic pass, to attend any ISD high school games (no tournaments or track relays), once the fee has been paid.

Physicals are good for two years if the doctor signs it that way.
Information below was put up at the end of the 2024-25 year if you have a PRIVIT account and want to retrieve a current physical. Otherwise ignore.

Age Eligibility
7th Grade athletes may not be born on or before June 30, 2011
8th Grade athletes may not be born on or before June 30, 2010
Academic / Citizenship Eligibility
Students are eligible on promotion to the next grade. Grade eligibility is based on semester grades. Any athlete that earned more than one “F” will become ineligible for the second semester. Student athletes who earn more than one “F” will be ineligible to be a member of an athletic team or MSHSAA sanctioned activity. Coaches may not allow players who have low grades to participate in games if they have low grades during the season.
Athletes represent their school on their athletic team and at contests. Athletes suspended from school or suspended with the In-School Suspension program are not eligible to compete or practice until they have attended one full class following their suspension.
