Concert Bands

Formal Wear

Concert outfits are ordered in November as a group so students may save on shipping costs.

Tuxedos may be rented or purchased from a company that gives us a discount which is why we order them in bulk. Rentals are a coat and pant combo (no shirt or bow tie included) If you purchase a tux, the company will include the shirt and tie.

Dresses are a one time purchase. The dress model number for Cousins is #2503 and is called a "Stephanie" with a sweetheart neckline and empire waist.

Sizing: Gentlemen need a coat size and waist. Pants MUST be hemmed Ex:Coat 40R 32                                     Ladies will need to consult the sizing guide found by clicking HERE.

Some former students may sell/give theirs to younger students. Please let us know if you are getting one this way or willing to sell yours if you have graduated.

The Truman High School Concert Band

The THS Concert Band is a larger ensemble averaging between 60-80 members. This group is what the directors consider the "heart" of our band program as it is the largest performing group out of the 3 bands. It has proven to be a band that improves consistently every year and is the primary training ground for students as they progress through the program.

The Truman High School Freshman Band

The THS Freshman Band, as it's name indicates, is comprised entirely of our Freshman class of students. This group is vital to the future of both concert bands and operates as a cohesive unit that works on their band sound and fundamental skills before graduating to the next level of performance.
