Jon Gill - Choir Director

Mr. Gill is in his third year teaching, and first year with the Independence District.  Prior to working at Nowlin and Van Horn, Mr. Gill was the K-12 vocal music teacher at North Platte School District.

Mr. Gill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music from Truman State University, and dual Master of Arts degrees in Choral Conducting and Education, also from Truman State.  While completing his graduate work, he also directed two of the choirs at Truman State, the Chamber Choir and the University Chorus.

Mr. Gill is a member of the National Association for Music Education, Missouri Choral Directors Association, American Choral Directors Association, and the National Education Association.

Mr. Gill directs the Mixed Choirs, teaches the Guitar class and teaches 6^th Grade Music Appreciation.
